I was expecting to see a couple of decent defenders to be rushed in,In order for grayson to keep his job and to get us where Bates apparently wants us to be come may?

Look at Tevaz, does not get any more clear cut then that, yet he didnt get sacked, and despite the evidence the Players Union backed him to the hilt.

He may have some legitimate reason.Would he have not been sacked if that was not the case?

His reason was divulged (allegedly) by Dominic Poleon via a poster on here ........ the reason being the declining state of his mental health and when this didnt wash with Grayson, the two fell out. Consequently there is a player revolt against Grayson led by the club captain.
