Just a thought, what if fans decided to stay at home or go to the pub to watch the game. What sort of atmosphere would there be at the ground if it was empty."

Have you not been to Coventry lately?

Why are we playing on a Thursday? This isnt the europa league?

Sky can televise it but at least put it on a normal day / night

But on another (more serious) note Im led to believe that sky also pay the host club the £'s that they've lost by people not attending (based on average attendance)

Sky is the devil end of. Of course I know that means I've sold my soul as I rely on Sky for my daily football fix, I need to fill the void between City games.

Wait until Apple win the football rights for next season and games get thrown all over the show and everyone has to buy Apple TVs, its gonna be fun ...

By the way, whilst we're on the subject of Televised football, does anyone know what has happened to the Football League Show?

Football League show has been dropped until 14th January due to "Budget cuts"

BBC are broadcasting it then for the rest of this season but it will be dropped when the contract expires at the end of 2011-12 season.

BBC consider it too expensive as the reason not to renew the contract, so it will go to the highest bidder.

Wouldn't surprise me if Channel 4 or 5 step in but with a watered down version...which would mean we'll not get our usual 28 seconds spot.

So be prepared to see the teams get off the coach and that'll be your lot......
