Truth is with our run of form in 2011 maybe we are finally due to turn a corner and string some results together now.
Everyone has good spells and bad spells maybe ours is finally over and some teams higher up like Swansea and Norwich who have not really had a bad run yet might hit sticky form soon (fingers crossed) and get sucked back into the dog fight.

LPP, I see what you mean, I just don't think that someone that could leave any day should be leading the boys out. Fair play to Cahill, he's obviously a top player and person off the pitch and did the team and himself proud tonight but Nige should have lead us if you ask me. What does it matter anyway, we won! :D
On another note, I can't believe what I've just read here, I must have it wrong. I've just copied and pasted this, no word of a lie, off the BBC's very own website:
"It was a morale-boosting night all round for Bolton as under-fire striker David Ngog scored his first goal for nearly three months and they secured back-to-back Premier League victories - after their win at Blackburn - for the first time since September 2009. "
What???!!!!

I have to say ...the funniest comment I saw all night during the game came from the BBC's Weds night Live thread ......
Everton goal: For once, this is not a typo from me, Tim Howard really has netted for Everton.
Minutes later .....
Mike from London on text: "I believe Howard wasn't a typo but are you sure Ngog is right?"
PRICELESS.

MOTD have done brilliantly to make it look like Everton dominated that - no sight of our penalty shout either.

Agreed Mr T ...if they could have altered Baines's free kick to have gone in off the bar, I reckon they would have! Have to say though ...having now seen the Tim Howard goal, there's nothing Bogdan could have done ..not his fault - he wasn't out of position at all when you bear in mind where the ball was when it was struck ...just a freak goal.
Having also seen MU, and the way they defended, expect a bid for Cahill from OT within the next day or two .....

We had more possession, more attempts on goal.....a few passes through the middle for Ngog to run on to.....they scored a fluke. Well done lads.
Only complaint I have is trying to waste time near the end....it almost cost us.

Ah c'mon ..you can't moan about that really .... all 20 prem managers would have had their teams doin' exactly the same, in such circumstances ......
... and if Bolton had gone all out for a third, and conceded an equaliser ..we'd all be on here now, crucifyin' OC and the team for not taking the ball into the corners and runnin' the clock down ..... (Oh yes, we would!)
