Does Luiz defend as poorly as that with what should be a simple clearance?

Yeah I know that was shocking but this whole debate seems to be "Luiz is bad but Jones is worse". Hardly something to be cheering about.

Sure you can give them a bit of stick when they deserve it but then you have also got to accept the stick Luiz gets as well.

I'm gonna be honest here

Much as I like Sideshow & think we are stronger for having him in the side...both have a lot to learn

Sideshow is the better footballer, Jones currently the better defender (last night was probably wind assisted & they'd lost anyway)

Hopefully Cahill will be as good too when he's in a decent side

Luiz makes a few mistakes but he has the most interseptions in the league, highest % tackle rate and has the highest long pass success rate for any PL defender.

Because he bullied their precious Rooney and showed the world just how over-rated he is.

De Gea also has (or did have) some of the best statistics for a goalkeeper...

So there you have it, every football fan did not realise it but Luiz and De Gea are actually the 2 best players in the league...

Also Isn't Downing one of the best chance creators according to stats last season ?

Obviously this De Gea hate from the ch.avs is based on their embarrassment at the beating we gave them at the bridge and the fact Torres missed an open goal.
