We lack the killer instinct

That's why we never thrash teams, always content whenever we have the lead, never try adding to it. Aside from a few exceptions such as the home games against Liverpool and Bolton where both teams went a man down early on, we tend to make hard work of almost every game we play. I already know for a fact we won't beat Everton by 2 clear goals next week, if we do win it'll either be 1-0 or 2-1.

vdvisgod is the most negative supporter on the universe. Even if we did the Quadruple he would probably say " we weren't convincing enough" ......We are winning mate, 1 loss in 17 and we are not dropping many points anymore to the weaker sides. We were dropping points on a regular basis to weaker teams every season, rare has i happened this season. Stoke we got cheated and a draw at Swansea away was a good point......Jesus vdvisgod, b happy for once

You beat us 4:0 I think that is classed as a thrashing.

Combining wearethefamousthfc and Thudd's points, it doesn't matter when we're winning, but against Chelsea and Swansea we squandered winning positions.

This is going to happen to everyone, but particularly against Swansea, a second goal when Ade shot wide from close range would have most likely won us the game.

Levy's priority should a top striker this month to keep things competitive for Ade and Sisqo.

Anyway, this is probably only the difference between Top 2 and Top 4, so it's not really a complaint. We're the best we've been in my lifetime

Spurs, since the early days of the season, have only been beaten at Stoke (ref robbed them of that game), and have drawn against Newcastle, Swansea and Chelsea, all three games of which they were leading. Against both Swansea and Newcastle it took goals in the last five minutes of both games to deny Spurs three points, and the Chelsea game, but for a another stupid refereeing decision, a couple of missed sitters, one of the line, could have certainly ended up in favour of Spurs.

So I really do not know there the originator of this article is coming from.

I would like to see more goals, especially as it would help me not to have a heart attack when we are hanging on with 20 minutes to go,but we are defended against more these days.By that i mean that in the last few years opposing teams treat us differently because they fear us more.Look at WestBrom--talk about park the bus !!

One decent brainwave that came about from this topic at least

We`ve created enough chances to thrash a few teams, unfortunately we are not clinical enough in front of goal.

I'd rather win 1-0 than draw 3-3
