Listening to 5Live the other night they had Peter Reid on and they were talking about supporters etc. He mentioned watching a match in Argentina where the home side were 3 nil down, yet the fans were still supporting the team and no jeering of the players. He asked the interpreter why this was and did they ever boo the players. The answer..............
No, the would never boo as they are cheering the shirt. Players, owners come and go but the shirt is with them always.
This has stuck with me and I have to agree. I will always support the club and the players past, present and future will come and go but the club is the thing. Lets get behind whoever is in the shirt. MOT

Cas, I think most of us ARE in support of the shirt.
Regards Peter Reid, heard him interviewed last year, really good guy, on his time at Leeds he said he loved Leeds but always seems to get the jobs where there are problems.
He deserves a shot at management where the behind the scenes rubbish is minimised, I think he'd do a really good job.

Agree. Always support the shirt.
Unfortunately, Bates insists on washing the shirts
with the dark load. And he's starting to take the sheen
off the previously sparkling white appearance.
