peltier for an undisclosed fee..
why are we hiding what he went for???
club might say its so no one else knows how much we have to spend..
most will believe its because he went for a song..
transparency is required...or are we going to hide fees and wages all season..??
season ticket holders and those that spend a lot travelling to home and away games, you may no longer have any stake in the club at all, apart from paying more each season and wondering whats going on with your money..
undisclosed fee????

I know who owns QPR, it was you that mentioned them to deflect your lack of knowledge of the financial clout of Leicester City....or did you forget that?

PWA1965,
I used QPR's as an example of a club with mega rich owners who have had little financial support from thrm to show that Leicester cannot guarantee any financial support either.
But it went ......w o o o shhhhh ........ straight over your tiny little head, didn't it !

No, you said...
"At the end of the day Leicester aren't exactly rolling in it are they. After being in Admin once, they have only recently just avoided a second dose of it."
Which is factually incorrect and then you tried to gloss over your epic fail by bringing QPR into it....don't worry, my wife doesn't know much about football either.
Anyway, I wouldn't expect you to know much about a championship club, so I'll give you the benefit of doubt this time...

Undisclosed is usually so that one team can save face, so that their fans don't think they've overpaid or sold a key player for a pittance. I imagine in this case though it's simply so that opposition teams don't know a) how much Leicester are spending on League One players, and b) how much Town are receiving which could in turn be spent elsewhere.

PWA605, keep saying it yourself often enough and who knows, you might end up believing it

My friends in Leicester say it is reported the fee was £500k, with a few add ons...max £750k. This is less than reported here at £750k plus add ons...where lies the truth...Is the money going into the 'kitty' for new players or to pay back some of the massive investment DH has made. Am sure we're looking to strengthen but the policy has always been to buy and develop young players with potential...although how Alan lee fits into that, ...I can see why we'd bring in older players with experience, but only ever on loan or a free transfer. Expect more of the same.
My other concern is how long it will take for the new side to gel, because we didn't really get going to xmas last season...and even that was a bit flimsy despite the unbeaten run..and when it came to the crunch we leaked goals like it was going our of fashion...brentford 4, Bournemouth 3, P,bro 3....in other words, we fell apart.
A more solid, skillfull and co-ordinated squad is hopefully where we are heading.
