Cash in on McGregor ??

http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11661_6998583,00.html

If Villa offer £6mil plus - I say yes and here's why -

Cuellar - £2mil Goodwullie- £2mil - Bartley £1.5mil and loose change over to be added to the £5 mil Whyte says is to spend - spend on a couple of quality midfielders/wingers and its 4IAR complete before a ball is kicked - enough of this hawking round the freebies - get the quality in like Jelly last year..

Gordy work yer magic

Alexander is a decent goalie to step-up...BUT..Does he have the baws?

Just my opinion but for all his plaudits I think he gets stage fright.

4iar in the bag? are u aware who's in charge of yer team now?

Pear - the only stat that matters is Gers won the SPL last year and McGregor played a large part in that. Thats why he is worth a lot more in my opinion

Alexander's baws were alright in the Euro run and I would be happy for him to step in - as above if it meant we could strengthen the overall first team

Hector, seriously when has Alexander had stage fright, have you seen a better keeper in Scotland for Penalty stops?

Charlie we should all have a half of
what your drinking. Average 'keeper?
Scottish No. 1 by a distance, best
goalkeeper in the League for three
years.
Produced outstanding performances in
European competition.
We will not get £6m because the Prem
sides don't rate our League highly enough
and Craig Gordon was an unmitigated flop
admittedly through injury.
We might persuade Villa for £3.5 plus
Cuellar.

Would need big money for McGregor to go as far as I'm concerned, along with davis, naisy, whittaker and jela I think this is the heart of the team. Next seasons centre back replacements are the main concern. Please lets not lose our best men.

"Forster is being priced at 2 or 3 million so why shouldn't he be pushing the same value as mcgregor?"

Because Forster plays in england so is obviously better than anyone in the SPL.

/sarcasm.

McGregor is a far better keeper than Forster. I don't care about stats, Forster didn't impress me.
