Sorry but I don't buy that in the slightest
We do keep hearing that the players are knackered but they are highly trained athletes who spend their time improving their fitness and doing a job that we would all kill for ....
Tennis players play literally 100's of matches in their season , baseball teams this season are expected to play double headers and are also expected to play every day
I'm sorry but the Prem seems to be granted elite status in more than just quality , the other divisions play more games with smaller squads
Prem players are nothing more than a bunch of whinging gits
but bloody hell I don't know what we'd do without them
Long live the Prem
and
C.O.Y.S
They look tired !!!!!!!!!

Butters .....Hmm that's a great point as well
I'm not really having a go at them just wondering why some players and some teams dont look as fit as they should be , after all they have the most up to date regimes and the best trainers money can buy

Premiership games are at a much faster rate then training, so they have to learn to adjust to it again and that takes time.
It's like someone in any job takes a year off and when they come back they take some time to adjust back in to work. If that makes any sense.

Yeah fair point doos. Just don't get why it makes such a difference (though to be fair Niko has never been the quickest!).
Not played for a while - lack match fitness.
Played too many games - too tired to perform.
Need a big squad to find the middle ground between those two!

Yeah Squid there is no excuse for it in this day and age, you do look at the game now as compared to say 15/20 years ago and see the progress made in terms of fitness of the players, they are athletes as well as footballers which does make for an exciting and entertaining 90 mins...
