FA CUP giant killers...

....Friday afternoon at work dragging now (I'd acclimatised myself to sitting at home eating cheese and drinking wine over Christmas)

Wondered if anyone had any predictions on possible shocks from tonight onwards.

Fixtures here - http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/fa_cup/fixtures/default.stm

I've had 2 quid on Fleetwood to beat Blackpool and Tamworth to draw at Everton; paying out 72 smackers.

Giant killers?

With Bamba out, SSL transfer listed and Peltier injured it looks like we might have a makeshift defence. We also have everything to lose and nothing to win against relegation strugglers.

I'm worried that we might be the first giant killing of the FA Cup

I know that SSL is on the transfer list and what led up to this happening, but is there not a possibility that under the circumstances Nigel might play him?

I think Peltier is fit is he not? Anyway, the academy defender George Taft, who's played for England at youth level, (I'm sure I've heard him mentioned as the best thing from the academy since Heskey?) has tweeted that Nigel has asked him into the squad so I would assume that means SSL won't be featuring.

Probably line-up with a back four looking something like:

Peltier - Mills - Tunchev - Konchesky/Kennedy

with Taft providing cover on the bench.

As for the thread, I reckon that if your looking for plausible upset's, a couple could be Fleetwood to beat Blackpool and Swindon to beat Wigan.
