Why is it that Spurs supporters

do not big up their players like Arsenal do, even though it is clear we are the better team at the moment.

Take Koscielny for instance, according to a lot Arsenal supporters he is the best defender in the prem. Should we not be saying the same about Kaboul, King and Gallas.

They also think that Santos and Sagna are the two best full-backs in the league. Should Spurs not be bigging up both Walker and BAE, the pair have been pretty well ever present all season, in an excellent defence.

Song is apparently the best defensive midfielder in the country, what about Parker and Sandro at Spurs.

More praise for Spurs players please. Let`s build up the team to epic proportions like the South London team do.

well thats one of the main reasons, he doesn't play enough. I have always said that King is a great defender, no question about that but he plays a handful of games a season at the moment so is pretty pointless at the best of times

"Granted he doesn't play enough, but Koscielny better than King? You must be joking."

Nobody rated RVP when he was injured (except us of course). What is the point having all the ability in the world if you can't show it. King is a class defender but he is never going to play enough football to get the recognition he deserves.

If I am honest, I would prefer to have Kos than King, but that is only because of the injuries.

Other than that, how is Kos better?

I never said Kos is better. On his day I think King is one of the top 3 defenders in the PL. Kos is not in the top 5 yet for me but if he continues his good form for the rest of the season I will have to re-think that.

Simply because King doesnt play enough. If he could stay fit for atleast 75% of a season, I'd love to see him at Arsenal but as Adventures said, whats the point if he cant play enough games to show his quality?

Fair enough batman. I agree about King. As good as he is, I can't honestly say I'd rather have him than Kos or Verm, because he simply doesn't play enough games.

Saying that, recently Verm seems to spend more time on the treatment table more than he does on the pitch. Would be interesting to see how many games Verm and King played in 2011.

agree tweedy see above.

I agree with you, it's a shame they cant get more games because both are undoubtedly great defenders.

Whats the news with King anyway, do you think he'll be fit enough to play more games soon or are you fearing the worst for him? would be a shame to see a career riddled with injuries like that, especially when you think of the caps he could have had for England

Its a real shame. I think its public knowledge that his knee condition is chronic, and can't be sorted out. The best we can hope for is maybe 20 games a season or thereabouts. Hopefully for another year or two.

King is when playing one of the best defenders in the world. He is certainly better than Rio or Terry if he stayed fit one of those 2 would have a lot less England caps.

To be honest if he stayed fit he would have probs left years ago to a barca, madrid, man u, he is that good.

Its no coincidence that we hardly ever lose with him in the team.

In an interview with henry he was asked who is the best player he has played against and he named king stating that no defender could get the ball off him the way king could. Now even I can recognise henry was the best in his day and the best can spot the best.
