'My feeling, even before United's defeat, was that City would win the Premier League. They have better players and more strength in depth than Sir Alex Ferguson's side, although they have yet to be tested over the course of a full season.'
So, in addition to tipping them for the title, I also think City will win on Sunday as they have strengths in key areas that will serve them well, not just this weekend but in the weeks ahead.
The importance of a reliable goalkeeper has been emphasised on both sides of Manchester this week.
Joe Hart played a crucial role in City's win against Liverpool with an early save from Stewart Downing and some fine handling in dreadful conditions, while Ferguson dropped David de Gea, his £17m summer-signing from Atletico Madrid, for the game against Newcastle after the Blackburn defeat.
Goalkeepers like Peter Schmeichel and Edwin van der Sar - who was so good last season you wonder why he retired - made the saves that won matches and kept United in competitions. De Gea was making mistakes that were costing goals so, eventually, Ferguson decided to go with Anders Lindegaard.
He also says about vidic being a miss.
De gea may have cost us champions league qualification but poor finishing also did. He may have been hopeless against blackburn but I am sure hes saved the most shots in EPL.
I like how he says he is not writing man utd off but I reckon he is just jealous his mighty Liverpool are 11 points off us after we lost back to back games.
I reckon 0-1 or 1-2 win for man utd with a late winner. City are not a great team, they just have better individuals then us but then again not everyone has over £500m to spend to chop and change.

are city as a good a team as man utd. Lets be honest despite you winning 6-1 the last 3 goals was because we had 8 players from 30yds from your goal. We went gung ho and you took your chances 6 goals from 7 shots on target.
Lets be honest if city had the same players man utd have then do you think playing individually like city do would make you 2nd. Not really. City don't have to put as much effort as man utd to win games as they are more clinical.
Anyway your champions league performances were woeful, napoli ripped you apart with ease. Man utd only went out due to goal keeping errors. If de gea had not made that mistake against benfica we would have gone through as group winners or berbatov scored a sitter.
Man utd had the most shots in the group stage and had one of the fewest shots on target conceded but conceded from 70% of them.

Vintage hafi throwing in a sneaky 'stat' in at the end. If you think 'clinical' is a suitable word to describe City then you certainly haven't watched us recently.
Don't see how you can slate Hansen for being 'bias' and then come out with this drivel.

Our strikers are not cclinical but get chances normally enough to win games but at the moment everything at one end is going in and the other we could miss open goals from 1 yd at this rate.
