That last statement has came from somebody else. Compare the two statements. The first one is cha.v English and the second "the club and I". As if Rooney would talk like that. He'd say "me and the club like are ermm like totally fine like."

I'm amazed that anyone believes anything in the football section of papers. Rooney never left last time, just got a holiday and a massive pay rise. He ate too many yorkshire puds, Fergie moaned at him, but basically Rooney does as he pleases.
