According to Daily Mail Ba's release clause is £10m. Do you guys reckon we would go for it, would be an absolute shame if he ends up going to Spurs.

" his technique is no better than Gervinho"
Yeh right ....Demba Ba actually scores goals, Gervinho finishing is about as good as a rocking horse!!! Ba is the perfect striker in terms of technique, strength and finishing ability. I would have him in the spurs team in a flash

What are you lot talking about saying he's a poor footballer? He's got a great touch, great technique, excellent hold up play and he's a deadly finisher. Sounds like a damn good footballer to me.
But he is too big a risk to take in terms of injury. 'Arry might want him but I don't think Levy will sanction it. No big club will ever take a gamble on a footballer who can't get insured because if his career is ended by injury that is their investment gone down the drain.
I know technically Spurs aren't a big club but they want to be. Levy is not going to start throwing out money when he wants a new stadium and in all likelihood 'Arry will only be there for the short term.

How would he fit in at arsenal? He can't play on the wings so no point in signing him really.

Well how about having some quality squad depth for a change and someone other than RVP who knows where the net is. Also what if RVP gets injured or loses form, can we depend on anyone to score goals for us? Anyone who thinks he isn't good enough either has never seen him play or hasn't got a clue about football.
If he has overcome his knee issues then for 10m he could be an absolute steal. I'm pretty sure Chelsea, Spurs and Liverpool will all be after his signature.

Wasn't it suggested that Ba is one injury away from his career ending? £10m is not small change to take such a risk on. But yeah, he's a great footballer imo, and his attitude this season has been pretty great.

It's a pretty small change if he gets us into the top4 at the end of the season. If Wenger can take a chance on the likes of Amaury Bischoff and Park, I can't see any reason why he can't go for Ba. We talk about signing players who can make an instant impact, well then Ba's our man.

Well no it's not. £10m + a decent wage. Bischoff was small change. Park was £3m? Now imagine we do sign him, and game 2 he gets a career threatening injury, what then? It's a heck of a risk.

there's plenty of other strikers apart from Ba, and who don't have a fked up knee.
