While we're all becoming increasingly worried about our injury situation, we seem to be getting a bit of luck with imminent opponents losing key players at just the right time for us.
For instance, losing Jagielka is a huge blow for Everton ahead of Wednesday's crunch clash. It also means they will probably have to play Heitinga and Distin today, meaning if one of them were to pick up a knock they'd be in all sorts of trouble for Wednesday.
And Wolves have just lost their key centre-back, Roger Johnson, who will almost certainly miss next weekend's match with suspected ligament damage.
For us, it's vital Parker is back soon, with Sandro out for a while. Livermore just isn't good enough.

Injuries - some luck at last

Don't forget demba BA and tiote will be at the ACON when we play Newcastle, the toure brothers will also be there when we play city. Brunt and Long were injured for the WBA game. Suarez will miss our match against Lpool. All we need is RVP to pick up his annual injury in the next couple of weeks.

Good news (As horrible as it is to say) on Jagielka, but Everton are still a threat
Parker, King and Lennon should be back for Wednesday which is a huge boost...just a shame on Sandro, what a blow for him and us!

Suarez is back for our match as they beat Oldham last night, so the 4th round match will use up another game. Hopefully he'll be a bit rusty though.
Agree Everton are still a threat, will be a tough match to win. And yes, losing Sandro is a massive blow, particularly with games like City and Liverpool away on the horizon.

And Ba and Tiote will only miss the game against us if their teams are in the final of the ACON (finishes on 12 Feb, and game v Geordies is on 11 Feb).

they will still dominate you, just my personal opinion.

Lets hope Ba and Tiote's national teams go all the way then, they have been on fire this season

I don't think you can say we've been unlucky with injuries tbh. There was a stage in the season where we played arguably our strongest 11 for about eight games in a row.

For years now we have had one of the longest injury lists in the PL. If it's not bad luck then we must have an incompetent medical team.
