I am a Nadal fan but I don't see Nadal winning another hardcourt Grand Slam in the future. He will continue winning French Open and perhaps Wimbledon for next three years but he will never win a hardcourt Grand Slam in the future.
I want Nadal to prove me wrong but sadly I don't think that will happen.
Nadal will finish with 16 Grand Slams and retire in 2016.
Thoughts?
Nadal will never win another hardcourt Slam

I think he will retire before 2016, to be honest. Or put it this way, he won't be in contention for major tournaments in 2016. It is down to his extremely demanding (physically) style of playing and his injury record, which does not suggest career longevity. Mind you, Djokovic might have a similar problem, although I think he is more naturally athletic than Nadal, and may last longer.
I agree with you that he will have difficulties winning another slam on hard courts. In all probability, he will have to beat 2 of the Djokovic-Murray-Federer to do that, and that will be a very hard task. Moreover, he cannot count on RG for granted either, as Djokovic has caught up with him on clay. I am convinced that Djoko would have beaten him at RG if he managed to pass Federer in the semies, considering the roll he was on.
I give Nadal another 3-4 slams but he will not catch Federer. Nobody will (from the current generation of players).

With a white-hot Nole around, I don't see him win any slams, let alone hard-court ones ....

nole, I see you are in your good, Nadal-bashing spirit once again...
I think Rafa will win 1 salm this year (RG or Wimbledon), and perhaps 2 or 3 more in the future. I reckon he will end up with a max 13-14 slams.

Meant it as a light-hearted comment and not criticism at all but sorry if it caused offence

I just wish that I will be able to see Nadal back to his scintillating best but I am not very optimistic.
