Not sure if I want to go and watch Stoke kick the crap out of us again.

Stoke will field a reserve team , Palace fielded a youth team , we will again send out a full strength side , rightly so in my opinion . I fully expect us to beat Stoke reserves .
If we pick up injuries so be it , the FA cup should remain a top competition , those teams who devalue the competition should not be allowed in next year , or at least made to field a similar side when they scrape through to the quater finals and then field full strength when they realise they have a chance of a pay day.

Rob,
I think Pulis will field a strong side, this is the best way for Stoke to remain in europe.

There's very few Stoooooke fans on 606 I notice, only 3 articles since mid-December.
Some funny banter though, like " Who is Stoke's best player?" Answer, Rory Delap. "Second best?" The kid with the towel.
They also get a lot of jibes about them being a Rugby team because of their style of play. What about the adorable Tony Pulis? You've got to love him.
I was at the Carling Cup 1/4 final match. It was the only contribution Ellington made, but what a good one. Who was the lucky bloke who got his shirt at the end of the game I wonder.

Stoke reached the final last year so I expect them to use the same tactics.
I can't see us getting anything from this.

There for the taking I reckon Iwas.
Shackel to own Crouch is my prediction with a 2-0 victory to the dominant Rams.

It surprising how two people can see this so differently AJ.
If Crystal Palaces CF could head the ball he would of scored two on Saturday instead he glanced both of them. Crouch, Huth, Shawcross, the other big guy from Sunderland would of scored them and they will get far more of those types of deliveries than CP got.
My fear for the season is that we get injuries again, Stoke are the worst team we could of drawn to avoid those.

Yes, I agree regarding injuries, Stoke are very physical to say the least and we'd best be careful.
I'd prefer to see Addison in midfield to add some muscle, but I still think we'll do well, especially if we don't give away any throw-ins inside our half!

can you imagine the pressure on the players not to give away a throwin inside our half. Could be a good one for Cwvka to make his comeback.

With the local rivalry, pride and passion at stake in this game i think it would be a very brave manager to field a weakened team. Should be a good atmoshere with the "Chip Army" in full voice. Will be a tight game with plenty of blood n snot, i'm biased so i go for the Potters, it may take a replay which neither of us want.
