Smalling

i heard the commentator say smalling hasnt trained for weeks and i was just amazed at how sharp and composed he looked

Smalling at centre back, Jones in midfield with Carrick - for the time being at least.

He looked great today, wouldn't have thought he'd been sick for a few weeks.

Definately our first choice defender for the rest of the season

I think we should from now on rely on Smalling and Evans until Vidic returns.

Yeah thought he is better at CB at the mo, Jones will do at right back/midfield. Smalling/Jones as CB may work as theyve played there together so often at under 21

I think Jones is really burnt out, he has played the most games for us this season along with Evra hasnt he? I really think he needs a rest. Smalling is unreal, i even said earlier i think he is our most special youngster.

Kay off Jones hey the guy has been top class for us, perhaps he needs a rest as to me he looks shattered.

Think he's played more games than any Utd player this season so far.

Ok he's had some bad games recently and rivals are all over it BUT the guy is class ! He's still a kid also

Jones has unbelievable stamina, I don't think too much game time is a reason for his poor form.

I've said it time and time again that he's far better than Jones.
