Alex or Samba?

I must confess, I quite like the idea of both defenders coming to the Lane. I can see pros and cons with both signings however. Alex, played a key role in Chelsea's recent double winning season. Whereas, Samba seems to be a big fish in a small pond at Blackburn. He is colossal in the air, seems to get a few goals, and plays with a vicious hunger to win. Not forgetting he is captain at Blackburn.

For me, Samba just edges due to his age aswell. I was wondering what fellow Spurs thought, and who they would prefer?
