Havent seen the official comment on the game being on ESPN but cannot understand why ITV are showing a game on Wednesday..we are the only game due to be played on Wednesday...yet they move ours and another game around to show ours on ESPN the night before...the power of bloody TV!!!( Can you tell I dont have ESPN)

SWIM:

For any of you who can't make the game and don't have ESPN, use the following link which is like the old p2p.eu website:

http://www.wiziwig.tv/competition.php?part=sports&discipline=football

It will list the games available and provide bitrate (in kbps) for the streams.

As it is on ESPN, I know there will be at least one stream showing ESPN HD. Any link that has a bit rate of 800 kbps or so (some go up to 1200+) will give you an excellent picture if you have a decent internet connection.

Although you can select 'sopcast' software based links, this will ask you to download something as a 'player'. Sopcast is legit, but I believe will have adware attached to it.

As mentioned though, I am pretty sure there will be one at around 800 kbps, which runs from 'flash only' for ESPN HD.

In addition, if you have a pretty new TV, you can purchase a reasonably cheap HDMI cable:

hdmicable4u. co. uk

Anything around 800 KBPS or above will provide a pretty decent picture if you hook up your laptop to telly.

Hope this helps in these credit crunching of times.

Leicester City v Nottingham Forest

The FA TV fee is £62,000 per club

Is that £62,000 what gets paid to Leicester City from ESPN?

If so that isnt very much tbh. If our average attendance is 20-25,000 I would say at least 5,000 wont attend if its on TV. 5,000 people paying £20 per ticket (not sure on the exact pricing) equates to a £100,000 loss.

I think ESPN pay further cash and that's just from the FA and relates to all the clubs whatever channel they are on I assume.

Absolute joke, I have an exam on Wednesday morning, and with the match originally being Wednesday evening I could have gone, but not now.

Could this be the year leicester actually win the FA Cup?

Perhaps not.

to be honest, with Man City out, either Liverpool or Man Utd out and many prem teams playing each other, this year is looking very promising for all underdogs in the FA Cup. Personally, I think we will win the replay, beat Swindon Town (altho this game cannot be taken for granted) and we might be able to get quite far
