I get the feeling we are being used to get the player a bumper contract either from Newcastle or whichever club wants to come in for him.
I personally wouldn't mind him but I also have my reservations. I think I remember him failing a medical for his knee and the last thing we need is another injury prone player. Also I would prefer we strengthened our CM position and offloaded a striker or 2 before buying a new striker.

Over all I doubt this will happen for us.
