hey uboat just coz you go to sign a player does not mean he is your first choice. The player you want might be on holiday or away at some daft tourny . So you sign up your other targets and play the waiting game.

if you are speaking about FIRST CHOICE players, then you tend to speak about players who play in the SAME POSITION!!

no way in a million years would you sign a second choice player over a first choice...UNLESS youve been rejected by the first choice player...

IF that is the case, then Whyte must be looking at the THIRD choice player...

It certainly reads like you're slaggin Rangers off but Conway and Hemed I wiuldn't have said would be Rangers main targets.

As said by another poster it looks like Ally could be lookin to get as many freebies in as poss so he doesn't have to spend, so he still has money for the next 4 years. Now that a couple of the freebies have went, the dough has to be spent.
