(aka Unparochial Vinjay)
Good luck for your new team tonight. You will be able to watch your new heroes live in action on your television box.
Did you enjoy the blue moon chanting where the lights were dimmed too? I did. I can see why you became a Manchester City fan now.

If you like Vincent. My family used to own mills in Rochdale, quite important people at one point, had many dealings with the Walkers pre Jack. All part of Rotary Clubs, civil functions et al.
My father knew Jack and Dave Whelan rather well through potential business dealings and his role at the local FA...

Also in my defence.. how is a club with at best an average of around 30k anything but a Small Club
Add in our status as a founder, our premier league title and our cup successes
then we become a Small club with Big Acheivements,
In My mind this is much better that a "big" club because "big" acheivements are expected!
Please argue why I am a "moron" for calling BRFC a small club, please describe in comparison to its other league rivals (19) why it is not "Small"
lets assume a dispersement of 7 Small, 6 Medium, 7 Big

I use parochial to describe rovers fans as its a fitting description of their whole mentality.
I know for a fact that Jack considered rovers to be a big club. He had the same mentality as me. Surprised you don't consider Chorley a big rival you probably consider them to be an equal to rovers.
The fact that nobody has reacted with anger to your ignorant small club remark (other than someone you drove out of the club) sums up everything I've said about rovers fans.
Anyone who thinks that is getting what they deserve from venkys.

Its a big club in a big town populated with small minded people with a small minded outlook on life.
Anyway that's it from me today. Don't accuse me of ignoring your questions I'm not on this board 24/7. Probably won't be on at all from now on.

It's not a big town at all. It is eclipsed in size and population by the likes of Manchester.

Ok Vinjay please define "small" and "big" in the terms of football clubs in the premier league, please provide a Quantative measure based on measurable facts rather than an opinion held by a businesses owner 15 years ago. Hey if I owned a business, do you think I'd advertise it by saying "it's OK, there's better out there but mine is OK" No, I'd Say "My business is Brilliant, its the best, come here"
15 years ago I had "big" hair, now I don't, things change.
So unless you want to continue calling me names again would love to debate how we measure the "size" of a club.

As for Blackburn and Darwen's 105k population:
Bradford 512k
Croydon 345k
Wigan 307k
Nottingham 306k
Rotherham 254k
Oldham 219k
St Albans 138k
Crawley 107k
We are the 214th biggest town in the UK...

Crawley a bigger club than rovers then to you?

No. You claimed Blackburn was a big town, I showed you clearly that it isn't.
Actually, based on your criteria, perhaps they are. History doesnt count, trophies don't count, geography doesn't count. They have a wealthy chairman and were Man United's FA Cup rivals last year, one of their fans thinks they're big. Yes, they are a massive Club!
