I think it's becoming rather apparent that Arsenal, Liverpool and Chelsea will all be fighting for the last CL position.
Liverpool are very strong defensively, and have a good squad of solid Premier League players.
They boss most games they play but have no killer instinct when it comes to the final third. Gerrard will help but Liverpool desperately need players who consistently score goals.
If they had a couple of clinical strikers they would have been so much better off this season, instead they're relying on Suarez who wastes more chances than they buries, plus Carroll and Kuyt who don't score at all!
I think Liverpool will drop too many points against mediocre sides and eventually finish 6th.
Arsenal lost a key player in Fabregas but Arteta has done well for Arsenal in a different midfield shape to last season (4-2-1-3 to 4-1-2-3), the creativity isn't of the same calibre but Arsenal still control most games. A problem for Arsenal is what to do with the defensive line, the Fulham game is a good example.
Arsenal defended high in the first half and were comfortably superior though Fulham did threaten to get in behind a few times, they dropped back in the second half and Fulham completely took over (Fulham didn't have much pace on the night so I think it was the wrong decision to drop back).
Arsenal dropping back invites the opposition into the game and also takes away alot from their attacking threat but makes them more difficult to break down and Wenger needs to find the right balance for the right opposition (for me they should push up more often than not).
I think Henry's clinical finishing will aid Arsenal for his short spell back and Wilshere's return will be a big boost.
I reckon Arsenal will finish 4th.
Chelsea to me have problems all over the pitch, if they drop the defensive line back too many teams are good enough to give Chelsea a good game, if they push up (particularly against teams with pace) they crumble defensively.
AVB can't seem to find a good balance in midfield, their most intelligent creative player is largely played wide, the strike force lacks goals, the defence is not well organised when the high-line is used and even Cech is making mistakes.
The only real positives are Sturridge's goal scoring and some sparkle from Mata.
Chelsea have the mentality of a big side that's used to being up there and IMO that's only reason why they'll finish above Liverpool.

Looking very close. Just four points in it.

Yep, it's so tight.
Still anyone's game for that 4th place.
If anything has becoming apparent, it's that Spurs will now certainly not be involved in this battle.

Indeed. Not that I thought they would have in the first place. They are playing with smiles and having fun doing so. Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool are still labouring through games.

Spurs are superb, can't wait for United to go to WHL.
That'll be a great game to watch.

Yes. I think if Spurs can pick up a few players in the summer, they could even be a force in Europe next season.
