Can it really happen?

As you know Spurs are only 3 points away from the top of the table and currently look in better shape than both Manchester clubs.

I like the way Spurs play with speed on and off the ball, creativity and attacking intent and to be honest hardly anyone in the league can live with them but do you believe Spurs can actually win the title?

On one hand Spurs lack experience in contesting for the title but on the other hand if they were going to collapse they probably would have done so when they lost their first two games with a -7 goal difference.

Instead they dusted it off like it was nothing as they've done with any other minor setbacks.

What's strange is that Spurs have the quality and confidence to win this title but I can't imagine them doing so, to the extent that I was hoping they'd win against Everton even though it's not good for United in any way!

So do you think Spurs will keep up the fight for a couple of months then drop off, fight till the end but ultimately fall short or could it actually happen?!

It also depends on who we buy during this window. If Levy wants to seriously have a go then he may mke money avaialble for a decent defender( Samba), decent back up winger( Hoillet) and a top quality striker( ?)

I've said before we have some top top players, triffic lads..

But City have unlimited resources while United have SAF and the refs. It's possible IMO because Fergie's either unable or unwilling to spend money where it matters. City may lose out because they also lack experience of a title fight, and they're a bunch of s who don't really care for the club.

We'll see, should be an exciting run-in

City have only won one in five and Utd have dropped off a bit by losing to Blackburn and newcastle. The FA Cup was a local derby so anything could have happened. Ask me again after this weekend's matches. If Sunderland beat Chelsea and the Swansea V Arsenal matches. Wigan V City will be a very interesting result to note and I cannot remember who Utd are playing but whoever it is they need to bounce back. Let's see how many we beat Wolves by and then I'll let you know if we can win it or not.

Utd v Bolton at home. Without Cahill. The sort of easy game you need at this time. Just like the last home game v Blackburn

Luke,I cannot see Utd maintaining this losing streak but who knows? Bolton beat Everton. Too difficult to say.

The same refs that denied us penalties at Newcastle earlier in the season and a penalty against City in the FA cup? we've had a lot of injury but we are still second, I think at one moment we had between 10 to 12 players out. I think this season City might take it, with us running them close.
I do think this period is more of a transition for us as we will look to ship/shipped some players out and bring/brought in some new players.
On Spurs, I think the way Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool been, they have finally had the chance to step up. They've been there or there abouts for a few seasons now, If they can avoid injury to key players, get in some decent strikers, they can really make a push for the title.
One thing I would like to ask is, when everyone last season, people said United won the league because everyone else were poor, does the same apply to Tottenham, saying that they are only here because Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, and of late both United and City have been poor? Or is it because they have improved?

no, we are not capable of winning the league. i would be delighted with third, but i think we need at least the points we have over chelsea at this stage to do it.

A bit of both.
Some teams having to raise their game. Others being complacent.
