TUX vs Leeds

Ah Leeds, my dad's team, despite him only living 300/400yds from Selhurst during his childhod. The original 'glory hunting cretin'. Oh well, his loss ;

Anyway, the game. As it stands we're on a high due to the result Tues and Leeds are on a low due to their results most weeks lately. So on that basis i predict..........

That was a decent display considering 10 vs 12 men! He was so inconsistent. It's not so much that Scannell got sent off but those were the only 2 yellows in the whole match. It seemed like Leeds would do something and the ref would realise it was a foul so when a Palace player did it back he blew up for it. Also the abuse at half time can't have helped matters.

If Scannell hadn't been sent off we would have beaten Leeds because Martin had a few decent chances and they were doing nothing. Even with a man down we still played well and huge credit to our defence, in particular Speroni who was great.

I wouldn't be too disappointed with the prediction because we would have won 2-1 if not for the sending off.
I listened on PP and the comms said the ref was clearly out of his depth and reading on the other forums, this would clearly be the case.
Still, 1-1 against Leeds with 10v12 is not bad.
There were some funny results today as well. Millwall look to be in free fall. I wonder how long Jackett can hang in there? I know they are the olde enemy but I wouldn't want them to drop. I know most wouldn't give two figs tho.

Hastings, he was awful. I've been reminded of things he did. Not taking into account what Leeds players did or off the ball incidents there was situations like Palace gave away a foul on the edge of the box and Leeds carried on playing and had a shot that went out for a goal kick so he called it back for the foul. If they had scored would he have called it back for the foul?

They announced the Millwall score at full time and got a big cheer. I agree with you that if those 2 stay up and Charlton join us that would be a tense season. Maybe if QPR get relegated and WHU stay in this league? The games against our rivals are completely different to any standard team and if there weren't so many regulations on tickets maybe these games would get 20k+ fans.

But I do like seeing Millwall get relegated
