So I have no idea why Chelsea fans, the british ones in particular seem to loathe Tim Lovejoy being one of us(chelsea fans) so much.
Was reading the mailbox on the football365 website and it seemed generally accepted that he was the most hated fan of Chelsea there is. And in comparison to hated fans of other teams like Piers Morgan at Arsenal, he seemed like one of the worst.
I googled him but can't seem to see what's there to be hated. British Chelsea fans please help me out.
I'm not British

He used to present Soccer AM. He's smug, arrogant and clueless when it comes to football

He's basically a bit cocky and successful. And the British mentality is to dislike people like that
I think he's alright personally

Having actually met Lovejoy on a couple of occasions, I can say he is genuinely a nice guy. He's certainly not in Piers Morgan's league of barstewardliness.
It has to be said though, some of his opinions can be idiotic. I remember once, when he was hosting 606, he said Ronaldo (I think) should have been let off a yellow card which meant a suspension. His rationale being they had a big game coming up, I think against Arsenal, and it was good for the league to have him playing.
Where he really let himself down though was when he left Soccer AM to chase the £££'s at Channel Five presenting the disaster that was 'David Beckham in the USA.'
It hasn't helped that, as is widely agreed, Soccer AM has gone downhill since he left.
