For me he is a decent manager who is still learning his trade but has a great passion for the game and while at Burton I will give him nothing but 100% support, him and Gary have done extremely well in their 2 ½ seasons in management. We had a superb first season, poor second but are well exceeding expectations with our start so far.
Based on recent comments can’t blame his or Macca’s frustration being muted at the fans, what do the ‘fans’ expect, Championship, Premier League, Champions League? Exactly the very sentence I use is one of sarcasm! We are doing OK so let’s get behind our team and the manager and try to do the best we can.
Have I got this wrong or isn’t supporting a team about backing a manager, team and staff season after season? If not I’m happy to be told otherwise.
Pesch deserves alot of credit for turning down the approach from Bristol Rovers and to continue his adventure with the Brewers, I certainly welcome his commitment and hope the 'fans' can see the positives in this and will do the same!
Pesch still for Burton – Back or Lay?

Excellent article captain thanks.I dont expect championship football thats way beyond my expectations and anyway the club could not fund it.No all i want is to see progress and changes for the better and the only way we have seen that this season is with the strike force. We have not done anything with the back four or added a decent midfielder to create more chances.I can assure you and all my fellow threaders i am and always will be 100 per cent behind my team whoever is the manager and i feel very sad if its put to question.Fans have opinions and i think thats good and i also think its good the club know,IT SHOWS PASSION.Keep threading my friend and voicing your opinions i find it very healthy and good for true fans.

As an after thought/comment, there is a short club statement on the website, Derby telegraph confirm Pesch turned them down politely and the day behind Burton Mail just says Pesch is remaining tight lipped, nothing about the approach ! Since that paper started getting printed in Cambridge instead of Burton, due to deadlines it is always behind, how can that be value for money !!!

Yes I hear what your saying I'm totally behind the team 100%. But never have we once challenged the commitment I know players give there all in every game macca one of them but it's time for a few changes play attacking football not just hoof it up . And you say he's learning you can only say that for so long . And I think he is in his Comfort zone to be honest .

Yes its annoying how the story has got twisted into us supporters questioning the players commitment, i think we know they are fully commited, i just don't think some of them are good enough !

Terraceman, it is smoke and mirrors mate. By twisting the truth they take the focus away from the poor performances and, worst of all in my case, using it to justify McGrath and his little tantrum last week.
It's a shame they couldn't have shown the same fight on the pitch today.

Agree Wednesbury Brewer, no hint of an apology from Mcgrath just a go at the supporters, admitedly previously he has always praised them but his outburst sets a poor example

Agree Wednesbury Brewer i think Pesch is confused with the players commitment and how they perform on the pitch the two dont go together , you can have 100% commitment to the club but if you do not perform on the pitch then that is not good enough and we can all see that we have players that for this League they are not good enough.
