Game called off

40 million on a stadium and we can't afford to put some plastic sheets on the pitch or even some blowers to stop it freezing. Frankly I think it's awful. Carlisle fans have travelled half way across the country to see the game called off just an hour before kick off.
Was it intentional? Did we even want to play?
Embarrassing!
We have under pitch heating and we can't afford that what is the point of having it.

Your thoughts please.

Also where is this marquee signing that robbo is supposed to be making?

How can you say that dons aren't a proper club and then say that dons proved that they are a proper club.

That isn't what I said. I said you don't need to be a pro club to be a proper club. MK proved that. Despite being a professional club, they're still not a proper club.

So every game that is postponed means that the home club hosting the fixture is a shambles

Not at all. These things happen. In this case though, MK could easily have had the game on, they just didn't want to.

Why would we not want to play? Why would we want to have another Tuesday?

I don't know. Ask the people in charge who didn't get the boiler installed, or those that made the pitch worse by adding water.

I told you he wouldn't listen.

Sorry, but do you mind if i ask you to conduct a little scientific experiment?

1 - Go to the ice compartment and take 1 ice cube out.
2 - Place ice cub in the kitchen sink.
3 - Put in plug
4 - Turn on cold water tap
5 - report back to me with your findings.

Now, you'll have noticed that the ice cub slowly dissolves upon making contact with the warmer water coming from the tap. As long as the temperature in your sink is not below freezing then the water collecting in your sink will not freeze.

Ergo, as long as the ground temperature was not below freezing yesterday (it wasn't and wouldn't have been until about 7pm) then watering the pitch was the right thing to do to break up the frost.

Jeeez! How difficult is this?!?!?

What's so funny? Did you carry out the experiment?

No, I didn't, just laughing at your response.

To be honest he's right.
