Kenny out?

First of all i know i will probably get a load of stick for this article and be called stupid, a traitor or something along those lines. But i will continue any way. Is Kenny running out of time? First of all Kenny has spent poorly. I know he has signed suarez, bellamy and enrique but were talking about the man who considered it sensible to pay 35 MILLION pounds on a striker who'd only been scoring in the top flight for about 3 months. Also the striker strived on long balls, good crossing and good set pieces, things liverpool dont have. He just doesnt fit the system and trying to fit the system around him isnt working.
Now we have stewart downing who has shown glimpses of what he can do. One of his main strengths is getting to the line and crossing all at full sprint. Because of this skill Kenny thought it would make sense to play him on the right where he hasnt really produced anything worthy of his pricetag. Too add to this the crosses from the left that downing can deliver would be beneficial to Andy Carroll. Clearly wouldnt it make sense to use downing as a player to create chances for Carroll instead of being a player who cuts inside and blazes the ball over the bar?
Im not going too say much about Jordan Henderson as he has improved a bit since joining.
Kenny has also made anfield a place hard to score goals at, this would be good if it affected the our opposition but sadly affects us as well. We have drawn more games at home than any other team. We have scored less goals than even the likes of blackburn and bolton who currently sit 11 and 13 places behind us. Whats the point in beating and drawing against the big teams when we cant put away the likes of swansea, blackburn and norwich.
Today as soon as i saw the teamsheet i immediately knew we were like;y to draw. we played 5 in defence with Dirk'my first touch is awful' Kuyt leading the line. Why would you play 5 in defence at HOME against stoke. In my opinion with the money hes spent he should be getting results. How can he carry on not peforming and stay in the job because hes a club legend?
Thoughts below?

Carroll was clearly and panic buy and shouldn't be used to justify Kenny's signing. But my..... What a poor by he's looking like at the moment.

And the reason Kenny doesn't play Downing on the left is because he is so ineffective there, he couldn't dribble past his own foot to get in a proper cross. Playing him on the right gives him another threat of running directly at players and getting in shots.

And today's tactics was almost spot on. the only error Kenny made was starting with just one striker.

Gotta agree in part. Kennys team plays great football but possession doesnt win games. We lack creativity to unlock the likes of Stoke and the blame has to land squareley at the manager's feet for the mediocre results. If this was any other manager, he'd be under severe pressure.

Don't worry, the priority for your lot can be the Carling Cup.

Apperently carroll was our summer target. Downing can dribble and he was beggining to forge a relationship with enrique. Also you are probably better at tactics than me, but can you explain why we played with 5 at the back

gurdev i agree we have decent build up and it seems were becoming like the arsenal of old. Why did kenny try and make us play with wingers when things were going so well with our pass and move?

Downing CAN'T dribble. Can't remember him going past anyone on the left and getting a cross in.

We're really missing Suarez' creativity.

I agree Carroll and was a poor signing, don't think Downing or Henderson were poor signings just overpriced. Downing hasn't been able to reproduce the form he showed at the end of last season for Villa or for England.
Think yet again we've got carried away believing we should be higher than we are. It is a work in progress and although our attacking players have been below par (exception of Suarez Bellamy Gerrard and Maxi) what Kenny has done is sorted out our defence. Under Hodgson every corner/set piece had us terrified. with Johnson Skrts Agger and Enrique we have a complete back 4 with attacking full backs and a balance with our CBs (beauty and the beast if you like). Beyond them Kelly Carra Coates Aurelio Flano are more than capable understudies. This is Kennys first full season back in charge maybe this season was about building the defence and picking up a trophy, with one foot at Wembley could argue he's on course. Stage 2 midd and attack maybe this will be addressed in this window or maybe we'll have to wait til the summer. Walk before you can Run!
