Worst result in the Glen's history?!

First off, congratulations to North Belfast's second best team Newington Y.C.

I'm sure one of the C*ck n Hens faithful will put me right on whether or not they've had a worst result but it can't be far off it?

I can't remember any as bad as this. Bye bye Scotty.

This result is not surprising at all. Anybody that has watched us this season knew this was gonna happen. We are no match for any team with a bit of heart. The season is over, and I can't see how the club is going to survive as there will be literally nobody going to watch them after this. Can't see how Scott can justify staying now, but it's not just him at the end of the day. The last guy that turned a struggling side with no money into a team that could challenge was Eddie Patterson, I'd let him have a crack or we'll be pulling the shutters down for good before Easter.

Yeah TPC, it's far from just him. How many league titles is this going to be in a row for Linfield now? Probably another double to boot. And yet DJ wasn't even a contender for the NI job and Michael O'Neill walks into it after 2 LOI titles, even the IFA recognise Linfield winning the Irish League is a formality.

Wont intrude on a wake.

Shocker.

Thanks Scotty, best of luck for the future. You have a good heart and you tried your best, but I think you have made the right decision for yourself and the club. Left your home in Scotland and fell in love with us, so much so you broke your leg 3 times giving your all for us on the pitch. You had a big challenge and you took it on passionately, just sorry it didn't work out for you. Hope to see you around the East and about the terraces some day.

Genuinely sorry to see him go. Was fully committed to the Glens and a decent guy, hope he was not subject to any abuse

Eddie Patterson must be the favouurite too be new boss.
Or maybe one of your old boys Walker or Leeman. Not sure if that would be the way to go though.

Never liked the Glens or their fans (who desert them rather easily every year ,even did the year they came back to win the league)
Well done North Belfasts no.1 team -Newington YC

Surely the players have to take responsibility for this shocking(yet I cant help but laugh HA HA HA) result,a result & performance which in the end was just enough to force out Young,I'm no fan of Young's not by a long shot but looking at it from his point of view how can them so called players get themselves up for a Big Two game then let the manager down like that!! At the end of the day though Young knew what he was taking on when he took the job & from the Glenmen I know they had lost faith in him & the team a long time a go.
