So we all have our favourites and who we WANT to win (come on Andy) but if we are being honest how do we think it will turn out.
I didn't want oor Andy to be in Nole's half of the draw. I reckon on a hard court he'd take Nadal but i'm not so certain he'll beat Novak as it stands.
Our man is on the up at the moment and really seems destined for even greater things than before. I just feel Novak Djokovic may be just slightly a step too far at present, Lendl though will be bending Andy's ear constantly, remember when you used to have him on toast for a year or so, remember your last meeting with him. Andy's no fool though and deep down he knows he has the tools to be the best in the game.
I just as a Scot, probably Hope more than expect that this fortnight is where it's going to happen.
Anyway back to the OP. I think the top 4 will make the semi's. Novak will beat Andy in 5 really hard sets, Federer will dispose of Nadal in 4.
The final is a toss up, i just have a strange feeling Federer is about to add number 17 although my head says Novak is slightly the better player.
it'll be intriguing, it'll lbe nerve-wracking, but
COME ON ANDY MURRAY

I think the winner will come from the Djokovic-Murray side of the draw. Whoever wins that will win the tournament, in reckon.
I am not sure that Fed will continue where he left off last year. It is almost as his timing wall all wrong. He was playing great tennis and then there was the long break. He looked pretty rusty in both Abbu Dhaby and Doha.
Nadal is a bit of an enigma right now. No one really knows what to expect of him. Having said that, I think he will find the way to get to the semi at least.
Murray is the form player at this early stage of the season and will get to the semi, no problem. There, it depends what Djokovic shows up. If both give their best, Djokovic will edge it. Otherwise, anything can happen.
Let's hope for a really great AO!

It's always heartwarmingf to see a passionate fan, Polb.
As a Nole fan, I had years of articles like this one. It's the fire that keeps burning that just doesn't leave you.
PPrediction game irks me for some reason, just don' t like doing it for some reason.
My only wish is for Nole to be 100% fit and healthy and play his best tennis, I just love watching him. Only another like-minded fan would understand, as good old Shakespeare once quoted somebody else:
There is a pleasure in being mad which noone bud the madmen know

Nadal fan here but I have a feeling that neither Nadal nor Djokovic will win this Australian Open though I want to see Nadal win.Nadal will lose before semifinals and Federer or a dark horse might win this Australian Open like Tsonga.

I see Andy getting to the semis where i think Djokovic will win through. I don't think we will see the 'Lendl factor' paying off for another 6 months or so! Maybe we should look at the US Open this year for his breakthrough!?
If thats the case, i would hope Rafa will come trhough. I have a strong suspicion 'Dr Evo' is going to take care of Federer in the next round (more out of hope.)
However, i will still hold onto the hope that Andy gets a GOLDEN SLAM this year!!!

Until Lendl joined the camp, I couldn't see Murray winning a Slam.
He looks more focused now but still hints of frustration, will be interesting to see how he fares in semis.

Andy Murray moves to the semi finals and stands shoulder to shoulder with Federer, Nadal and Djokovic. Do I need to spell how just how much of an achievement that is?

Murray did great today, edged closer, still needs some tweaks to his game, I'm more optimistic than I have been about him and feel if he continues, Lendl may well help him break though.
Nole though, what a character and what a champion!
