winger on trails

Snodgrass, Sam, Townsend, Pugh, Rodgers

We don't need another winger.

We need a centreback.

Pugh is not a proper winger, Townsend is only here on loan and Snodgrass you would fancy will leave in the summer. We need to look at alternatives for the long term.

Pugh can play on the wing and can play attack minded, yes he is better on the defensive, however I don't know where this idea that he can't attack has come from (particularly as he was one of our top scorers the first time he signed)

All those players are here till at least the end if the season. Grayson identified we needed a centreback after Barnsley and yet here we are two weeks into the window and nothing.

Sort out the glaring errors first, then think long term.

I wouldn't fancy Pugh playing in the role that Townsend, Snoddy or Gradel can play in a 451/433. Yes he's alright in a 442 on the wing as we are not as reliant on him going forward.

Maybe grayson doesn't thInk we have a problem in defence.....

Then play Townsend there...or Sam...or Rodgers.

I wouldn't mind if it looked like we were signing someone at the back. But like I said, two weeks and nothing.
