I would feel more comfortable playing at Right Back then have Bosingwa there. I cannot believe a right back that can't cross or defend can be a professional footballer

He would struggle to get in any other PL team, just goes to show how our standards have lowered. 5 years ago or even 3 that clown would never have got into our team

I wouldn't be surprised if Essien is first choice DM by the time we play Napoli. I doubt he'll manage to get back into the team in any other position though.

This is more or less my view,although as I said, he pleasantly surprised me when he came on against Sunderland. .

I think that DM or RB are the two positions we´ll be seeing Essien play although I still think he´ll be more of a squad player than a regular.

Certainly not a bad thing as we need more versatile squad players.

Essien won't be playing at RB, now that we have Ivanovic,Cahill,Ferreira and Bosingwa who can all play in that position

He was only played there as an emergency under Mourinho and Avram.

Ivan is the only one worth playing & he needs cover. Cahill will be central Luiz could be used here too though

Bubbles thats why i asked, im a ST holder but couldnt get to the game.

MOTD just show what they feel like so i knew it wouldnt be a fair representation!

I haven't watched MOTD for a while but I went home earlier than normal after the game and was sober so I thought why not. They seem almost put out showing what they did of us on MOTD. I am not missing much clearly.

Romeu shouldn't be playing as many games as he has. He's only 20 years old and was injured majority of last season. If Essien recoves well enough, i would play Essien at DM and rotate the two
