£20.7 Million?

Reported bid for Tevez at £20.7 million, should we accept this bid?

Personally I think City should ask for a bid of £25 million, that is still good value considering his ability and if you look at other transfers of top class strikers.

Also if we get £25 million then we cover what we spent to bring Tevez to the club in the first place, meaning that we got 2 good season out of him to get us in the CL now we are selling him without making a loss.

Granted I know he hasn't played for a few months or trained, but if he was a fit Tevez he would be going for £40-£45 million, so they are saving at least £15 million due to the fact he has not played in a while, I think that is fair game. Thoughts?

Considering he pretty accurately summed up City and their thinking I don't think I would call it riled. If anything the only wum part was the poster City put up, Ferguson just pointed out what that tells you about City.

Obviously it was a wum from us, but not the sort of wum you get in the pub unlike Ferguson's response.

You must have a red tint etched into your eyeballs if you can't see how upset he got.

Obviously not a pub wum, as your club actually put time and money into trying to wind up another club....

Which you might call a bit of a small mentality... might make them seem a bit obsessed... might appear as if they think buying Tevez from United is some kind of victory....

So in other words it appears exactly like Ferguson called it, if you want to call it a wum go for it but its all pretty accurate.

Think you bitter blues are transferring some of your bitterness onto Ferguson, he just called it like he see it. Small club, small mentality a bit obsessed with United, very accurate summation of City actions over the poster.

To be honest it's just football banter, the sort of thing I'd probably do if I had a couple of grand spare and a 15ft advertising board on the side of my house. Not the usual thing that clubs themselves get involved in, and that's why it was priceless.

Couldn't have put it better myself.

No need to transfer anything to fergie, he might be successful but he does come across bitter sometimes!

It is understandable to be a bit bitter when someone else gets something you could have had but decided you didn't want...

Wait a second... that actually makes no sense at all.
