Fergie up to something ..?

I would not be surprised if SAF is up to something and the club announce a signing out of nowhere, either now or lined up for the summer. Ronaldo coming home?? Hazard on his way ?
If Diouf follows Macheda out on loan and Berba does get sold then he is paving the way for something. Also with Gibson gone and Morrison possibly too.
Anyone else think there may be a major surprise in the offing or do you really think we have no money to spend, not even to tie up Wellbeck on a new long contract.
Gaitan seems lined up for the summer but who else I wonder?

Hmmm... so it ain't just me who thinks SAF looks out of sorts. Thank God for that. Normally, I'd have shot myself down in flames for uttering such blasphemy.

Why would he leave Barca for us ??? Seriously ???

The best footballing side ever with massive funds, for a debt ridden club that cannot let go of past. !

I also think Fergie looks very weary in the past few months - well I guess it has been rough losing to City 6 1, Basle and Palace.

Well Guardiola is always reluctant to sign long term contracts and he may be looking for a new challenge.

... or Maureen, who only likes to sign cheques.

Imagine in 2002 they had agreed for Sven Erickson to take over.

Utd I've heard are struggling to make the payments, well the Glazers are.

CP can you tell me or show me a link of where you have heard this please?

Do you realise you have contradicted yourself thoroughly in this thread?

It's the Glazers cutting the wage bill. The Glazers are struggling to meet their payments. The Glazers have screwed us.

Fergie is stubborn. Fergie's ego is too big. Fergie can't see what everyone else can see.

Can you see that these two explanations can't both be right? The trick to thinking like an adult is to try weighing up different ideas, consider how much evidence you have to support each of them, analyse which is more probable, and retain a certain amount of intellectual caution about how much it is possible to know. If you adopt this advice it will help you in your life / career as well as stop making a fool of yourself on forums.

Back to the point. I do suspect money has been restricted since the Glazers came along. But it hasn't been non-existent. Moreover, the Glazers have learned enough about making money over the years that they understand that there's a limit to how much one can restrict investment in a business before the performance and value of the business declines.

It is of course in their interests to take the maximum amount out of MUFC while putting the minimum in. That doesn't mean it's better for them to have Scholes and Giggs playing into their 70s. Therefore, the money has to be made available, which means it's very unlikely that no midfielder will be bought before next season - unless both Pogba and Morrison look ready by then. Your certainty to the contrary is as well-founded as your certainty that [let's not mention them] were on their way in 2011.

Hey Red

I'm afraid your wisdom is utterly wasted on Captain

He will read that, ignore it completely, and continue to spout his contradicting nonsense on another thread, then another, then another....

I don't doubt that he is aware of the fact he keeps contradicting himself but alas, accepting that would mean he would have to either

a) quit calling the old man stubborn and egotistical or

b) quit calling the Glazers

That wouldn't sit right with him because he would rather ciritisise both, along with half our team so, he will simply ignore it to continue his 'Captain Positivety knows everything' campagne despite knowing that 99% of this forum think he's a baffoon
