300 tickets left for Wolves

Good to see that we have already sold 2000 of our allocation for the Wolves game tomorrow, that's nearly as many fans as we had for the home game!

Is anybody making the trip? I am going over with a couple of friends after I was able to swap my shifts round at work. probably have a few drinks in town ad get the last train over, don't want to be in Wolverhampton too long, the smell is just terrible!

I think it will be pretty much the same team that played at home to Wolves but with Rooney and Redmond both getting on the score sheet on Saturday we should play with a bit more confidence.

Well we are planning on getting up there early tatter, so I am sure we will bump into a few of locals, we have all had our jabs though so we shouldn't pick up any nasty diseases while we are over there.

There are plenty of places in town you'll get a drink with no trouble bcfc83 - just stay away from anywhere I've suggested!

Work means I won't get into town until around 7.00pm so it'll be a quick one (two if the first one goes down very well) and in for me.

You on official transport or making your own way?

Getting the train over mate, never going on the official transport, you can't get a beer on there.

Like I said previously mate I have been wolves plenty of times, I used to go uni over there so I know where to drink and where not to drink, but thanks for the advice!

You seem a rather oversensitive little flower, imagine how you'll feel should you lose at the Moulinex tonight?

Blue I'm not oversensitive at all and can take it as well as I give it.

Excuse me if I don't take your prediction to heart - they proved a little wide of the mark last season didn't they?

Fair enough Zulu

I wont be planning on posting on here very often anyway, so i guess i wont mention my future trips to the Custard Bowl

One last mention would be why i did go.

Most of my Family on my Dads side are Wolves fans there is the odd WBA but there are more in family who Glorry Hunt i,e Man Utd and Liverpool so on my Dads side all his brothers and sisters family support mainly Wolves there is 2 WBA fans, 2 Liverpool and 2 Man Utd. And about 12+ Wolves.

My Moms side do not watch Football those that do are all Villa fans. Thus i am the only Bluenose in the Family. (where i grew up was Villa, i was born in West Brom, and lived for near 20 years closest to Walsall but in a area thats mainly Wolves, followed by WBA.

It does not take long to get to Birmingham for me, a 25 min walk or so to the Metro or a Bus then Metro and i am in Birmingham, then again a 20 min bus ride and i am in Wolverhampton or 30 min to West Brom.

The reason i went to Wolves was i used to go to games with my Brother who is a Wolves fan and when we go to games we take it in turns going to Blues then Wolves.

If you had a brother who say was a WBA fan it would be like him saying we go to Blues one week then WBA the next.

I do feel i let the club down because i did end up going to more Wolves games last season than Blues, this was because my brother just did not fancy the prospect of going to watch poor Football under McLeish.

This season by brother has not been going to Wolves much, he has actually been to more Blues games than Wolves So i did go to odd Wolves game with mate but some of the crowd near where he sat and people he met up found out i was a Bluenose and i was made to feel not welcome.

To be honest i beleave once i chose Blues when i was 14 you cant change your colours, as if i stayed in Brum it would have been easier to go to Blues, but now in Black Country it would have been easier to be a Dingle as most family and friends are.

Sometimes i do think maybe it would had been better if i was not a Bluenose and if i had not grown up in Birmingham i would not have been.

When i think of that and most likely if i had never lived in Birmingham i would have actually supported Walsall as they are the most local club to me

So i am a casual Bluenose in a sence, they are my favorite because thats the first side i decided to go support back in 1990 before then i was actually a Liverpool Armchair fan for 4-6 months

But i actually follow all West Midlands side, i like to see all the sides doing well. But of course i would love it more if Blues was doing the best but i still back the side only not as much as i maybe should, regardless of what league we are in.

Here I am Balsall - not one to hide after a defeat (where did you go at the end of last season by the way? You seemed to exit 606 VERY quickly!).

Congratulations noses and good luck against the Blades. Much better game than the one at your place (I know that's not saying a lot).

I think we had the better of the first half without ever dominating but you certainly had the best of a scrappy second half.

Enjoy the rest of the season.
