Blackburn Rovers have this afternoon reiterated that Chris Samba is not for sale.
A club statement reads: "Blackburn Rovers reiterate that team captain Christopher Samba is not for sale. The player signed a new contract with the club less than a year ago which runs to June 2015."

I know we are linked with him, but I think we of all fans can understand where Blackburn are coming from here.
Good to see more clubs standing up for themselves and refusing to bow to player pressure.
Hope you keep him Blackburn fans.
Fair play Blackburn

It can be found on Arsenal board SKA(in one of your articles)...
Because he's selfish. He has no life outside the realms of JA606...

Anyway, on topic....I do hope we send out a clear message with the Samba situation that we're not pushovers. If we manage to keep a highly rated player in these circumstances teams may think twice about trying to raid us in the future. Providing we stay up, of course.

Not bad, but too ESOL to be convincing.

Personally I'd have nothing against Samba leaving, he's too good for us, he's been with us for quite a while and shown loyalty in previous windows, and he's at the age now where he's only gonna get 1 last shot at the big time. You could say well why did he sign a long contract then but when players don't (e.g. Hoilett) then fans aren't happy either so in that respect they can't win.
All I would say is the clubs bidding for him need to get real about these offers, Venkys would have to be clinically insane to let him go for less than £15m.

Jesus - a celtic scrounger going on about 2003. I guess their past is all they have to hold on to, even if most of it makes the pope blush.
