Chelsea should have signed Sambha instead of Cahill as he is a better defender than him! in my opinion but as a Chelsea fan I hope that Cahill will prove to be a good signing for us.

Cahill has improved a lot, very good in the air, with ball at feet, anticipates well and is pretty quick. IMO he may be pushing Terry for a place soon, especially if we go back the the high defensive block.

We specifically bought Cahill because of his cut price and the fact he's a ball playing defender, more suited to AVB than Alex.
Making a decision to sign Samba and sell Alex for less would've been horridous business.
