Selling you Club Captain shows no ambition what so ever and will get backs up from many Leeds Fans - but many fans have critised Jonny many a times for his performances. In reality, he wouldn't be back in squad contention til mid Feb anyway leaving club with 3 months to still reach promotion goal with midfield we curretly have.
Bates has cashed in on a player who (apparantely) showed no sign of signing new contract. We want players who want to play for Leeds, not chase the dream of playing in higher division.
So let hope (and pray) Grayson gets the cash to swooop for effective midfield replacement and not just end transfer month with loans and freebies.
Bates has days to show some ambition or can see the likes of Clayton and Snoddy leaving in the summer and young players like White walking away for nothing!!!

Fans critised Johnson when he was here and look how hes doing now. Howson is our best player!!! And our Captain! Its a joke, were not going to have a squad left by the time Bates is through, hes a dinosaur and needs to be extinct

Delph (loan) & Andrews (swoop) would be good business if/when Howson moves on.
With 13 days of transfer windown left, club needs effective and established improved players in to lify squad and give captain armband to Clayton, Snoddy or Lees
