For the purpose of a debate on another article, i have been asked to provide proof of what percentage of NON-Liverpool fans consider Liverpool to be general contenders for 4th spot.
I set my bench mark for the current contenders down to 6th place, which consists of the Top 4 places being 4 teams from City, United, Spurs, Chelsea, Arsenal or Newcastle.
The debate is on article:
http://www.ja606.co.uk/articles/viewArticle/76906
The article is titled "Defoe" but the debate has side tracked dramatically onto who are being taken seriously as Top 4 contenders.
Please can you just say Yes or No, as per the following:
Yes - you believe they are genuine contenders
No - Liverpool are not taken seriously as contenders for Top 4
All Liverpool fans will be deleted, as this is the whole purpose of the debate.
Thank you for reading & please place your opinion below...
Calling all NON-Liverpool fans...

No.
Said it at start of the season and now I actually think Newcastle could finish above them.
Come the end of season, if you take away the extra 10 points Liverpool gain from their annual love in with referees, you will find their true position.

What is the new poll?

I think the poll lived up to its expectations.
I quoted in my article:
"I set my bench mark for the current contenders down to 6th place, which consists of the Top 4 places being 4 teams from City, United, Spurs, Chelsea, Arsenal or Newcastle".
And these teams were pretty much within a shout of CL (bar Chelsea) up until the final whistle of the season. And Chelsea werent that far off.
This is why i was saying that non-Liverpool fans are likely to be more realistic towards the expectation surrounding Liverpool's current situation than 'Pool fans themselves.
