ARSENAL SLOW OFF THE MARK

Once again Manager and Board appear to be slow off the mark when it comes to transfers.

Clubs like Manchester United,Manchester City and Chelsea appear to be
decisive and able to get their man.

Arsenal on the other hand appear to take an eternity haggling over the last
penny and dotting every i and t. It is hardly surprising that we appear to miss out on so many signings.

The question needs to be asked why Man Utd appear to have secured two
signings whilst we do not appear to have got on starting line.

My view is that the Board and Manager are utterly indecisive and not willing to go extra mile. That is why the club needs to recruit new blood in these departments.

It looks like weve missed out on bojan, wickham and cahill due to wenger's in-ability to bid that extra 1.5 million or so! so frustrating. Samba and Gervinho will make up for it though!

Wenger is beginning to look like the tortoise when it comes to transfer market.

There might be justification for his approach if he was securing 'world beaters', but sadly his track record over past 5 years does not demonstrate that.

What we are beginning to see is that Arsenal are becoming a second tier club in transfer market incapable of competing with big boys either on what we are prepared to pay or in pulling power as a trophyless club.

The situation with Nasri provides also a similar problem.

Re: Lukyayenko

You are right in case of European Market, but wrong in
Britain. There is no restriction when it comes to players
here, which is why several Clubs in EPL have made already signings.

hence i said european window.

Samba is on holiday and has said he will sort his future out when he gets back.

Other than him and possibly (but i hope not) cahill, you all know as well as i do the most of our targets will be from outside england.
