Football Aid 2012

Hello Again

Some of you may know (and some not) about a website called Football Aid.

Their main goal is to raise money for charitable organisations across the UK, but mainly 'Field of Dreams'

Its main cause is raising funds to find a cure for Type 1 Juvenile Diabetes.

I've done this with them for the last 5 years now playing at Tottenham, Portsmouth, Charlton, Watford, Reading and this season hopefully Crystal Palace.

Having family and relatives who suffer with diabetes I fully understand how hard it can be, and this is a great way to combine football and raising money.

If you've ever wanted to play at your teams ground, i would suggest doing this

You get

Full kit with your name on the back
45/90 mins depending on your bid
Stadium tour
Play with a former legend

Its a great day!

Thanks

THudd

RRP Yeah true, but its alright though. There's worse conditions out there than Diabetes. As Thudd said, as long as you control it properly then you'l be fine.. Main thing its done for me is get me into a proper daily routine which I didnt have when I was younger. My sleeping and eating patterns were all over the place Thudd hope your brother and rest of your family are alright

Yeah Thudd, as we say, let's just hope this research leads to some sort of breakthrough.

Did last years at the Reebok. Cracking day. Still got my shirt and a couple of decent action photos.

Sadly no legend in our game due to coaching commitments but people going this year will have one this time about.
