Simple as that. The way they batted, was terrible.
England is not good enough in these conditions in the same way team like India is not good enough in seaming and bouncing condition.
I cant really see how English batsmen can improve and adjust so quickly for the next test.
Have to admit though that English bowling unit is arguably the best. The way their bowlers helped England get back into the match was truly something.
But As much as I would give Credit to brilliant Pakistani bowling, I would equally blame INABILITY(not carelessness, sorry) of English batsman to adjust to the conditions. May be sitting out of the game for so long didnt help them.
Poor Poor Performance.Hoped for a competitive test match that would go around to 4th of 5th day, but we are served with yet another thrashing.
And I am specially sad for Alastair Cook. I was looking forward to his daddy hundred.
I still hope,Cook gets a big hundred in the next test match.
If batsman can adjust and grind the run in these conditions, then only England with their brilliant bowling line up can get back to the series, but I cant see how they can adjust to the conditions so fast.
So, I think England are not just good enough in this condition.
The performace of England was so India-like.
England not good enough!

I think we will see a vastly different performance in the next test. Flower is not the sort to sit back and take a defeat like that without fighting back.

HMM, hope you're true.
But dont you think ,English batsmen have to adapt to the techniques to bat in these conditions. I dont think its just the case of application.
I think too much time off the game created rustiness in these english camp. And they didnt have Enough Preparation here.
They needed to be here atleast 20 days before(however, understandable due to Christmas and new year and Cook's wedding)
However, Whats gone is gone
I want a double hundred from Alastair Cook in the next test match.and a competitve match of course.

England will only improve for the remainder part.Pakistan cant afford to get complacent. In addition to cricketing skills, English team are renowned for resilience and I expect them to do better in the next test.I was prepared to write a wummish Article but after sportsmanlike article from certain English fans, I abandoned my plan.
