It's not just SS — the Daily Mail has a long piece saying the same thing. (Mind you, if the Mail ran a piece on how rain was wet, I'd probably stick my hand out of the front door during the next shower to check if there was any truth in it).

I got slated for this at the time, but I thought he had the makings of a very good player.

Good at set peices, mobile, good in the air, and can finish.

He was arguably our player of pre-season, performing very very well. I thought that whilst he was an idiot with his penalty, he still had the ability to perform to a high standard for the club, and he was harshly treated by the management team.

Charlton's star player this season. Apparently Kermit said in one of the championship magazines that he would not apologise for his penalty as atleast he had the balls to take one as others refused and/or avoided!

This thread was meant as tongue in cheek but i have to agree with Cantle.

Maybe he is the mobile target man we need to replace howard? Was one of pearsons original signings after all.

Not that i can see us even having an interest tho.
