I have heard a rumour that it will include the arm tassles, and before each game the whole team will run around the pitch shaking the hoardings and beating their chests!

am i the only one who understands the "white gowns and hoods" reference?
but seriously, Scouse were Adidas' 2nd largest profitable kit deal by revenue, so it seems that warrior just outbid them. From a business point of view, i cannot see why adidas would want to drop liverpool

Because they can secure a deal with another club that are in CL. Looks like warrior were prepared to pay that extra to break into the footy market with a bug name. Adidas on the other hand have been in that market for a long time.

I did. It is quite fitting being sponsered by Warrior Sports, given that Andy Carroll would be more suitably described as a warrior than a footballer.

Who cares if it earns us the reported £300m over the length of the deal.

Yes I guess Adidas need to sponsor teams regularly getting in to Europe, so this is actually a big slap in the face for LFC.
And the way the club handled the Suarez affair isnt exactly going to have companies queueing up to have their names/products linked with you. In fact that whole sorry episode could have lasting financial ramifications.
To have to drop down to a company unknown in world football is rather embarrassing to say the least.
