Way with words...

Mr Boycott, far more colourful with words than with his batting....

'From two innings it is clear Ian Bell couldn’t pick Saeed Ajmal. He has more chance of picking his nose than Ajmal’s doosra'

English STAR-STUDDED batting line up is just as flattering as Indian at times.
It also proves that Cricket is a Team game and Individual record dont ensure success in a given day.

What conditions Neon? There was no turn on that wicket. That doosra can be bowled on any wicket and with the same result. The Dubai track was a not a typical Sub Cont track.

Making runs in Test cricket is no big deal. Morgan made a hundred at Edgbaston against India last summer, but everyone was at it then against a poor attack

Good old Geoff, if he said that on here, he'd be accused of being a wum

Think a few people are going a bit overboard on the basis of one test match, Boycott included.

He sure did Chopps and I think he made a couple of 50s too so had a good summer. I seem to remember him taking Mishra to the cleaners.

Looks like Geoff has a point

Morgan made 104 in 199 balls vs india in bham.

Mishra wasnt the only player to be taken to the cleaners Kash, two others followed in that test match.....

Sreesanth 36 overs 158/0
Sharma 37 overs 156/1

Yap yap I just remember ,,was the same match Cook missed a certain triple..
BTW,, I saw on the telly the other day that his average against pace/spin was something like 20/160.
But,Morgan I think is the right man at no.6 for england,he has played many rescue inning for England in the shorter form and that says a lot about his calm head.
Sort out some technical aspect and Morgan can be Someone like Hussey or Laxman for team England or may be even better..
