these scores do nothing for our game and its happened many times over the years..I cant see how to solve it apart from an handicap when super league meets the rest

I think the Swinton fans and players probably enjoyed todays game despite the scoreline... Of course it would have been a better spectacle if it was closer but I don't see how you could do this... its a sport, you can't handicap one team because they have better players.

At the end of the day the wire were fantastic ok you can say we had no opposition but in playing terms we ticked every box.
We did not disrepect swinton by fielding a weak team and showed how we can play.
Come on the wires.

never handicap the challenge cup its the only way teams from the lower leagues have the chance to play against the Super League sides every now and then theres a surprise look at Barrow running Wigan close in 2009 and beating Castleford in 2010.

If they played again next week it would be a totally different score. Wire will never lose a game like that but it's not their fault the got such a team in the draw.

Around 4440..... they were charging 15 quid to get in, so not big surprise it was quite low.

clubs wont realize, that for those type of game, a fiver cheaper would get a bigger crowd...no atmosphere when crowds so low in a biggish stadium
