McQuoid signs on...

Got this kid as cover, in Eddie we trust and hopefully he can resurrect his career with us and have the same impact

Seems a strange signing, but Eddie knows the boy very well so we must trust his judgement.

Good evening Onts, Just thought i'd pop by with my input. I did say I was going to post more frequently the last time I logged in, which was on the 17th of October. Obviously that never happened and I return 3 months on... Any way this new kid, McQuoid. Looked impressive at Bournemouth under Eddies football but at Millwall struggled abit. Looks to be a nippy player who can bring pace and flair to the game but I really would have liked Sam Vokes to stay to the end of the season. Sad to see him head back to Wolves but never got the game time he deserved as Jay and Charlie look in good touch! and even though Pato has been dealt another blow, Danny Ings looks to have a good future!

Anyway, lets see what McQuoid can do in his 93 days at the Turf!

Welcome back WES. Nice to see our board is slowly recovering from the havoc caused by our Horwich neighbours. Anyway , big game today, a win could really put us in the mix. I am probably more confident away at the moment. If we can put a few home results together then who knows !

Just seen an FA Directive which says, Any player found passing to a Bolton striker will be deemed guilty of time wasting. (It was actually Forest when I read it but it works just as well for Bolton).

Well thats five Clarets for this week, three postings well over a hundred comments, could be on our way back.
Hope he does well and we can pick him up for a good price.
Just finished watching the Norwich game, dont think J Rod would suite their style.
Best for today and will be watching for the result.
C'mon you Clarets

Poor result for both teams probably better for Rams than us. We dominated but couldn`t get the break we needed. One of those days.On the positive side, 3 months ago we would have lost to a late goal ! Onwards and Upwards

Thats how I look at it, a few weeks ago we would have given up a late goal and been down on ourselves. No goals and another point in the bag is not too bad.
It will take time for them to sit back and use the possession to score winning goals, its what they will start to get a lot of. I think away they have the advantage of going at teams so not too bothered.

Cheers Onts, Bit gutted when Goodwillie ( what sort of a name is that ? ) smashed in the equalizer from fully 30 inches, otherwise its onwards and upwards. UTC

Morning clarets,
bit of a poor result from thye clarets but a clean sheet is not the end of the world. We should of beat derby and to say we are supposed to have one of the best strike forces in the chamionship it certainly was not the case on saturday a couple of unlucky moments but we should of had the game rapped up many of times. Derby was very boring and apart from pession we was too.

And that josh Mcquoid looks ok really not has good as wallace but at least there will be some compition.

Is anyone travelling down to forrest ??
