In case anyone has taken that Twitter cash fine story to mean that he said something awful about Leicester on his way out of the door, he's actually done quite the opposite. His latest tweet reads: "Good club and great set of lads! all the best for the rest season fingers crossed be in prem soon!! #Thanksforallthesupport"

Leicester City player Michael Ball has been fined £6,000 for comments he made on Twitter. The charge, which Ball admitted, was that he acted in a way which was improper and/or brought the game into disrepute.

As well as the fine, Ball was warned as to his future conduct.
